D - Pharma

Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2-year regular Diploma Course. This course is the minimum qualification to become a registered pharmacist in the country. After successfully completing two years of D. Pharm Course and after registering with the State Pharmacy Council, one can set up their own retail pharmacy, in order to stock and sell medicines and dispense them according to the prescription of a Registered Medical Practitioner. One can also become a Medical Representative on completion of this Course.

D Pharm holders can work in several fields such as:

B - Pharma

It is a four year undergraduate academic course in the field of pharmacy. The degree is the basic prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist in many countries and its about understanding the properties and impacts of medicines and developing the skills required to counsel patients about their use. Pharmacists can work in a range of industries related to the prescription, manufacture & provision of medicines. The B.Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among the science students. This course provides a large number of job opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
